An utterly enjoyable day at UK Dairy Day 2016

On 14 September, we attended UK Dairy Day 2016 at Telford International Centre, hosted by our long serving customers, Holstein UK. To show our support, we gladly sponsored the car parking on the day which meant free car parking for all visitors. Around 8,000 visitors and 170 cattle attended the event which, coupled with the weather, made for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

One of the highlights of the day was the live cow painting which was positioned just to the left of our stand. The cow painting helped educate visitors about the internal workings of our four-legged milk bearing friends. Fortunately, the painting was left to the experts!

Another main feature was the prestigious Cattle Show which took place at the centre of the Telford International Centre. The show saw immaculate cattle from all breeds, Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Dairy Shorthorn, Jersey and Holstein, on parade. You can see the list of winners here.

Visitor numbers were up, cattle entries were up and so too were spirits as people networked, chatted and did business.”
