Motorists from all over the country are being met with some of the worst driving conditions in recent years as the ‘Beast from the East’ continues to sweep across the UK.
As the polar vortex, nicknamed the ‘Beast from the East’ meets Storm Emma, conditions may only worsen as we head into the weekend. Temperatures are set to remain devastatingly cold, snow continues to fall and wind speeds soar causing severe snow drifts with icy roads and freezing rain to boot!
With yellow and red weather warnings across much the country, the message is very much: do not venture onto the roads if you do not need to.
