Following a successful two-day campaign at the joint Ford Impact and Vizion Conference, Sandicliffe Motor Contracts raised a handy £170 for BEN, the Automotive Charity, as part of their lucky dip prize draw.
The two-day event welcomed over 700 guests from bodyshops up and down the country, from both the Vizion and Ford Dealer networks.
As one of the UK’s leading supplier of courtesy car leasing, Sandicliffe Motor Contracts has partnered with the conference for several years now and it’s been a pleasure to see the event grow, year on year.
With almost 100 exhibitors in attendance at the Engine Room at Donington Park, the hall was packed full with a whole host of industry suppliers and partners. There were also plenty of insightful seminars opportunities running throughout the two days and lots of interactive demonstrations to see.
As part of the Sandicliffe Motor Contracts’ stand, we invited visitors to look around one of our Ford Fiestas, a great example of our courtesy car fleet and also take part in their lucky dip prize giveaway. With a prize to win every time, the lucky dip prize board hid a variety of fun prizes, from scented car air fresheners and golf umbrellas, to an ‘evening at the theatre’ grand prize.
Most importantly the lucky dip was raising money for a great cause. BEN is the UK’s dedicated charity for those who work, or have worked, in the automotive and related industries and their dependants.
Despite raising a helpful sum of £85 for BEN over the two-day event, which has since been match-funded by Sandicliffe Motor Contracts to give a grand total of £170, our special grand prize wasn’t redeemed.
To rectify this we gave all those who entered the prize draw a further chance to win. The grand prize was finally awarded to Carl Wintorbottom of Blenheim Express Repairs in Ashbourne who was delighted to accept the prize.
