Factory automation specialist doubles its fleet size in seven years
The story so far
As one of the largest corporations in the world, you may wonder why you haven’t heard of FANUC before…
Standing for Factory Automatic NUmerical Control, FANUC is a factory automation specialist with its global headquarters, FANUC City, situated at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. Employing over 5,000 employees worldwide, FANUC’s motto is ‘global strength – local presence,’ and they certainly make their presence felt in the UK with their state-of-art facility based in Coventry.
FANUC UK has been working with Sandicliffe Motor Contracts since 2010 and during that time the business has more than doubled its fleet size from 40 to 86 vehicles. Enjoying significant growth over recent years, FANUC UK has seen employee numbers soar, and with that comes the requirement for more company vehicles.
As a great success story for a Midlands-based business and the UK’s thriving manufacturing industry, we have been delighted to support FANUC UK along their journey.
We work with FANUC UK to provide:
- Maintained Contract Hire – supporting a ‘user-chooser’ policy alongside two other like-minded leasing providers
- Short Term Lease – providing pre-lease vehicles for new starters
How do we do it?
The relationship with FANUC UK has been strong from the outset, a foundation built on trust and the ability to deliver.
With a real emphasis on the people behind the business at both FANUC and Sandicliffe Motor Contracts, it’s a good fit in terms of shared company values and working ethos.
What FANUC UK says?
Although FANUC is a huge organisation, built on robots, automation and processes, there is a real sense of connection with people, whether that be employees, customers or suppliers.
And when I think of Sandicliffe Motor Contracts, I automatically think of the people. It makes a real difference to work with someone who you know is fair, reliable and always happy to help.
It’s a testament to mid-size contract hire providers, like Sandicliffe Motor Contracts, who have been strong as a business to support our needs yet still remain open and approachable.
